I enjoy getting on deviantART and seeing hundreds of articles of work of all different types. And this picture here is a prime example of the kind of diversity that I am looking for. Clearly you are a photographer of some renown and the resources to broaden your horizons. The technique here is fantastic, to say the very least. The lighting is superb and the mood is clearly subject to the lack of certain colors and saturation. I do not see how you can master technique any more than you already have. On the other hand, I cant escape the feeling that it seems a bit contrived. As if you have done this type of thing before and are getting bored of it, OR you are very new to the subject matter and are not quite sure how to execute it with the impact that it deserves. The angle, the framing, the pose, it all seems a little stagnant for the type of emotion that you are conveying, or at least the emotion that it gives me. It is good, (i probably couldnt do better at this time in my career), but this niche of yours needs refining.
